Welcome to the Great Works Barn---our newest adventure and hopefully a place you'll visit, spend time and remember for the rest of your life.
We're Heather and Chris Hopkins, a New England raised couple and owners of the GWB. A few things you should know about us: We live for new experiences, we've traveled the world, we're raising two boys under two and we're doing it all with a dry and sarcastic sense of humor, an undying love for all things New England and a strong drink at the end of the day.
We're currently living in Stuttgart, Germany, running the GWB from the other side of the ocean with a help of a few of our friends and family. This year, we're taking on a few major projects at the barn: re-siding, landscaping and designing the interior to include new features such as an on-site kitchen, bridal suite and if I get my way, a steam room spa!
